Israeli military revealed that one of its officers was killed in confrontations against the Palestinian Resistance in Khan Younis, while 16 Israeli soldiers were injured, six of whom were in critical condition.
Under the "permitted to be published" clause, Israeli media announced that the officer belonged to the "Egoz" unit, which operates under the "Commandos" special forces.
Israeli media also described the clash as "a difficult battle", detailing that Resistance fighters engaged the unit's soldiers using an RPG, targeting a building where they had been stationed, in the al-Amal neighborhood, near Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
